SecuriGroup and Skills for Security shaking hands

Skills for Security are the leading Fire and Security apprenticeship training provider in the UK. Supporting over 400 apprentices across their centres in Warrington, Birmingham, Scotland, Oxford & Watford (opening mid 2022). Skills for Security have a reach like no other and implement courses through a range of mixed delivery methods.

With a huge skills shortage in the Fire and Security industry Skills for Security work with employers across the UK to provide the next generation of engineers with the tools and knowledge for a successful career.

In line with our goal we are proud to announce the new partnership with SecuriGroup as their preferred fire and security apprenticeship provider! Skills for Security will be working with SecuriGroup assisting them during the recruitment process for their new apprenticeship positions and ensuring learners receive maximum support throughout their course.

Ranked in the top 1% of UK security companies, as approved by the Security Industry Authority, SecuriGroup is an award-winning security company, specialising in the provision of security guarding, augmented security and systems solutions, mobile patrolling and key holding, events security, and close protection services.

Speaking on the partnership David Scott, Managing Director, Skills for Security said, I have known David Waddell at SecuriGroup for some time and really delighted they are choosing us to help grow and develop their workforce.

SecuriGroup Technical Director David Waddell said "SecuriGroup's ever-expanding electronic system's department uses only in-house engineering staff and as such we continually look to bring in that next generation of talent. Skills for Security provide a service which not only gives SecuriGroup Apprentices the best available start in their career, but also that which meets business requirements and minimises disruption to client installations. I look forward to working with David and the Team going forward.”
