This session will encompass an introduction to requirements under EN 179, EN 1125 and BS EN 13637 for installation and specification of electronic access control on escape route doors throughout a building.

Each candidate will then be given a risk assessment document for them to carryout an assessment of pre-fitted electronically controlled doors, highlighting what they would change to ensure compliance is met.

The availability of virtual training will be available throughout all of the 3 days for 1-2-1 demonstrations and queries about the products and solutions on offer.

The competition will be an open session running on 15-minute rotations where each candidate will be given a PICO headset to carry out a virtual training course to introduce them to the possibilities and benefits of virtual training within their organisations.

This training will include a live feed of a leader board displaying the top scores set throughout each day generated by the virtual training platform, with a prize given to the top scorers at the end of each day.
